Demokrasi Digital was invited to join the conversation at Welcoming the Global Digital Compact: The Right to Development, Technology and Corporate Accountability in Asia and the Pacific at Bangkok, Thailand on September 26th 2024. This gathering brought together policymakers, civil society, technologists, and industry voices to reflect on how digital innovation can advance the right to development while strengthening accountability across the region.

Understanding the governance of algorithm as it has become more powerful in our life. Through a combination of interactive workshops, public forums, and educational materials, the program explores both the benefits and challenges of algorithmic decision-making. Participants examine issues such as transparency, accountability, and leave with practical tools to assess algorithmic systems and how it affects their day to day decision making process.
